A formal way of stating that a particular view or belief is held by the speaker.
“I am of the opinion that stricter environmental regulations are necessary for businesses.”
“I am of the opinion that university education should be more affordable for everyone.”
This slightly more formal phrase can help raise the formality and complexity of your language in CELPIP Speaking Task 7, which is scored partly on vocabulary range. Use it once in your response to show grammatical control of longer opinion structures, but don't force it into every sentence since natural, varied language sounds better than repeated formal templates.
