At CelpipPractice.com, operated by AlphaIT Ltd, we stand behind the quality of our platform. This Refund Policy explains when and how you may request a refund for payments made through the Service, and sets out your rights under applicable Canadian and Alberta consumer protection law.

Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. CelpipPractice.com offers a 7-day satisfaction guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you are not satisfied with the Service within that window and meet the eligibility conditions below, you may request a full refund — no questions asked.
This Policy applies to all purchases made on celpippractice.com and is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under the Alberta Consumer Protection Act (RSA 2000, c C-26.3) or other applicable Canadian consumer protection legislation.
Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions. All conditions must be met unless otherwise stated:
2.1 New Subscriber — Full Refund (7-Day Window)
2.2 Annual Plan — Pro-Rated Refund (14-Day Window)
If you purchased an annual subscription plan and wish to cancel within the first 14 calendar days of purchase without having substantially used the Service (fewer than 3 full mock tests completed), you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused months remaining on your annual plan.
Pro-rated amount = (Months remaining ÷ 12) × Annual plan price paid
2.3 Service Outage or Technical Failure
If a verified technical failure or extended outage on our end (more than 72 consecutive hours) prevented you from accessing the Service during your paid subscription period, you may request a pro-rated credit or partial refund for the affected period, regardless of the standard eligibility windows above.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
Annual Plan Refunds
Annual subscriptions offer the best value and are billed as a single upfront payment. The following rules apply specifically to annual plans:

Upon cancellation of an annual plan (with or without a refund), your access to paid features will continue until the end of the period already paid for.
Renewal Charges
All subscription plans (monthly and annual) renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
5.1 Refunds on Renewal Charges
Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. However, if you contact us at [email protected] within 3 calendar days of a renewal charge being processed, and you have not used the Service during the renewed billing period, we will review your request and may issue a refund at our discretion.
5.2 How to Cancel Before Renewal
To avoid being charged for a renewal, cancel your subscription before the renewal date by:
- •Logging into your Account and selecting "Cancel Subscription" in account settings; or
- •Emailing [email protected] with your account email and a cancellation request at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us by email. We do not accept refund requests through third-party channels.
6.1 Information to Include
Please include the following in your refund request email to help us process it quickly:
- 1The email address registered to your CelpipPractice.com Account
- 2The date of your original purchase
- 3Your Stripe transaction ID or payment receipt number (if available)
- 4The subscription plan you purchased (monthly or annual)
- 5A brief reason for your refund request (optional but helpful)
Processing & Timeline
Once we receive your refund request, here is what happens:
Acknowledgement
Within 1–2 business daysWe will acknowledge receipt of your request and confirm whether it falls within the eligibility window.
Review
Within 3–5 business daysWe review your account activity (test completions, content accessed, subscription dates) to assess eligibility. We may contact you for additional information.
Decision
Within 5 business daysWe will notify you by email of our decision. If approved, we initiate the refund through Stripe immediately.
Refund to Your Account
5–10 business days after approvalStripe processes the refund to your original payment method. Timing depends on your card issuer or bank — most refunds appear within 5–10 business days.
All timelines refer to business days (Monday–Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays). Total time from request to refund received: typically 7–15 business days.
Stripe & Payment Processing
All payments on CelpipPractice.com are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. This has the following implications for refunds:
Refund Method
Approved refunds are always returned to the original payment method used at purchase (credit card, debit card, etc.). We cannot issue refunds to a different card or payment method.
No Cash Refunds
We do not issue refunds by cash, cheque, e-transfer, or any method other than the original Stripe payment method. Account credits may be offered as an alternative at our discretion.
CAD $2.00 Administrative Fee
All approved refunds are subject to a flat CAD $2.00 administrative fee, which is deducted from the refunded amount before it is returned to your card. This is done as a partial refund in Stripe — for example, if you paid CAD $29.00, your refund will be CAD $27.00. This fee is waived where the refund is caused by a verified technical failure on our part.
Currency
All charges and refunds are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD). If your card was billed in a foreign currency, the refunded amount in your currency may differ due to exchange rate fluctuations. We are not responsible for currency conversion differences.

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
9.1 What Is a Chargeback?
A chargeback occurs when you ask your bank or credit card issuer to reverse a transaction. While chargebacks are a legitimate consumer protection tool, initiating one without first attempting to resolve the dispute with us may result in Account suspension and being flagged in Stripe's fraud prevention systems.
9.2 Our Response to Chargebacks
If a chargeback is initiated against a transaction on CelpipPractice.com, we reserve the right to:
- •Immediately suspend or terminate the Account associated with the chargeback
- •Submit evidence to Stripe and your card issuer disputing the chargeback, including account activity records, login history, and content access logs
- •Pursue recovery of any amounts successfully charged back where we believe the chargeback was fraudulent or in bad faith
9.3 Legitimate Chargebacks
We acknowledge that chargebacks may be appropriate in cases of unauthorized card use or genuine billing errors. If you believe your card was used fraudulently on our platform, please notify us immediately at [email protected] and we will cooperate fully.
Your Statutory Rights (Alberta & Canada)
10.1 Alberta Consumer Protection Act — Distance Sales Contracts
CelpipPractice.com sells subscriptions online, which constitutes a distance sales contract under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act. As a result, you have certain mandatory rights including:
- The right to receive a written copy of this agreement — these Terms, this Policy, and our Privacy Policy satisfy this requirement.
- The right to cancel within 10 days of receiving this disclosure if we failed to provide mandatory disclosure information — this is in addition to, and separate from, our voluntary 7-day guarantee.
- The right to a refund within 15 days if we cancel the contract or fail to supply the Service.

This Policy is designed to protect genuine customers. We actively monitor for patterns of refund abuse, including but not limited to:
Where we reasonably determine that a refund request is abusive or in bad faith, we reserve the right to deny the request, suspend the Account, and take appropriate action under our Terms and Conditions. This does not affect your legitimate rights under applicable consumer protection law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting a notice on the Service and/or emailing your registered Account address at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
The version of this Policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs your refund eligibility for that transaction. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
