Used to describe something that is worth its price because of the quality or benefits it provides.
“It costs a bit more, but it's better value for money because it comes with a two-year warranty.”
“This package offers great value for money since meals and transport are all included.”
In Task 5, arguing that your choice offers better "value for money" is a persuasive way to justify spending more (or the same) for greater quality — it shifts the focus from price alone to overall worth. Use it when your option isn't the cheapest but still makes the smarter choice.
Synonyms: worth the price, good value, worth every penny
