A structure used to show that one thing has less of a quality than another when comparing two things.
“The used car isn't as reliable as the new one, so I'd rather pay a bit more.”
“That neighborhood isn't as safe as the one near the park, in my opinion.”
This structure is extremely useful in Task 5 for pointing out a weakness in the option you're rejecting, which strengthens your argument for the one you support. For example, "Option A is not as reliable as Option B" directly contrasts the two choices. Use it alongside positive phrases about your chosen option so your response doesn't sound only negative.
