Used to ask for agreement while gently suggesting your own opinion at the same time.
“This option gives us so much more flexibility, don't you think?”
“Don't you think it makes more sense to book the earlier flight?”
Because Task 5 asks you to speak as if persuading a real person, tag questions like "don't you think" make your response sound like a natural, two-way conversation rather than a monologue. Use it once or twice near a key argument to sound engaging, but don't overuse it, since the task is still mostly about presenting your own reasoning.
Synonyms: wouldn't you agree, don't you agree, right?
