This is one of the safest, most natural openers for CELPIP Speaking Task 7, where you must give and support an opinion on a given topic. Raters expect a clear opinion statement near the start of your response, so use this phrase right after restating the topic. Pair it with a reason immediately after, for example 'In my opinion, X is better because...'.
